Pokwang Reveals Called Her Ex-Husband Lee O’Brian “Undesirable Alien”
Actress-comedienne Pokwang insisted that she is pursuing the deportation case against her ex-husband Lee O’Brian and called him an “undesirable alien”.
Pokwang stated her position on the counter-affidavit submitted by Lee O’Brian in response to the charges filed against him in her Instagram story. O’Brian launches an appeal against Pokwang’s deportation and visa cancellation.
Marietta Subong, also known as Pokwang, needs her ex-husband “kicked” back to America. Her position on this can be read on an art card, thanks to her legal adviser, Atty Ralph Calinisan.
“We maintain that Mr. William Lee O’Brian must be deported immediately from the Philippines. Undesirable aliens have no place in this country. With this case we are pursuing, we are putting a stop to the gross manipulation of Philippine immigration laws and the acts of abuse against our client, Ms. Marietta Subong,” said on the artcard.
“The Philippines must be a safe place for everyone, especially us Filipinos,” the letter added.
Meanwhile, O’Brian stated that despite his legal battle with Pokwang, he will still have respect for her and affection for their daughter Malia. He further begged with the Bureau of Immigration to make a “just” or “fair” conclusion in the case, claiming that the complaint is “famous and very influential.”
“There we go. Just filed a counter affidavit to the complaint filed by Marietta Subong (Pokwang). You know what I’d like to say is first of all, above everything, I always have respect for the mother of my child.”
“Given the fact that the complainant is very well-known, widely known throughout this county and very, very influential I am basically asking and pleading with the Philippine government and the Bureau of Immigration to look at my case, my deportation case fairly and with justice, according to the merits of the case and whatever I filed here I would plead with them to look at it justly,” said Lee.
