Herlene Budol started her career in ‘Wowowin’
Kapuso actress Herlene Budol has this message to veteran host Willie Revillame, the one who discovered her and gave her the chance to be part of the show Wowowin.
Herlene was discovered by Kuya Wil after she joined as a contestant. From that, she became a co-host. Through that hosting stint, more doors opened for her in the entertainment industry.
She now has her own TV series Magandang Dilag. Herlene is also one of the official candidates for Miss Grand Philippines 2023.
In a recent interview posted on PEP’s YouTube channel, Herlene Budol was asked if she has a message to Willie Revillame because the media conference for her new TV series was held where the Wowowin show was done before.
“Kuya Wil, kung nasaan ka man, I love you very much, nandito ako sa Studio 6,” the actress who is also known as Hipon Girl said. She shared that until now, she still has communication with the veteran host.
Herlene also recalled some of the unforgettable moments she had at the former Wowowin studio.
When asked what she felt when she entered the studio where she worked for a long time, she said that it felt like home. “Feeling ko bahay ko ‘to. Dito ako nag-start eh, dito ako pinanganak eh,” she said.
Herlene shared that she sent a message to Kuya Wil as a show of her appreciation for him. The actress is thankful for all the help that the veteran host has given to her. She said that through Willie, she was able to be where she is now.
Herlene Budol also stressed that her gratitude and respect for Willie Revillame will always be there. She also shared that the veteran host expressed happiness with what she is achieving right now.
