Maine Mendoza Says She Only Had Chance To See Bruno Mars’ “last two songs”
MAINE MENDOZA – Actress Maine Mendoza expressed her disappointment after she missed most of Bruno’s performance in Bulacan.
Bruno Mars finally visited the Philippines after waiting five years to play some of his most liked songs. The Filipino-American multiple Grammy winner performed at Bulacan’s Philippine Arena for his fourth concert in the country; his previous three were at the Mall of Asia Arena for his “24K Magic” tour in 2018 and 2017.
It took some time for the concert to start; a representative from Live Nation Philippines told Philstar.com that delays were brought on by concertgoers stuck in traffic. Eventually, though, a large white cloth bearing Bruno’s name dropped onto the stage, revealing the singer and his band the Hooligans, who opened with “24K Magic.”
Among the celebrities who attend Bruno Mars’ concert in Manila is actress-host Maine Mendoza. On her Twitter page on Saturday, June 24, Maine shared her experience of seeing the singer in the flesh.
The 28-year-old celebrity revealed that she missed most of Bruno’s performance in Bulacan. She said it turned out to be a “hassle.”

Maine Mendoza expressed her disappointment on social media after being unable to watch the majority of Bruno Mars’ concert. She said she only had the chance to see its “last two songs.”
“Went to see Bruno Mars in Philippine Arena and made it to the finale. Happy pa din kasi umabot sa last two songs. Napaka hassle lang talaga ng entry and exit! Has it always been like this?” she said.
Maine then expressed her apologies to her fans while recalling Eat Bulaga’s “Tamang Panahon” special from October 2015, which took place in the same location.
“Kumusta ang previous concerts dito? And Tamang Panahon?! Shocks sorry kung ganito din ka-hassle,” she said.
While hinting that she wouldn’t attend Coldplay’s upcoming performance in the country, Maine also uploaded a picture of herself and her fiancé Arjo.
“Happy na din ako to see this! Sending my best wishes to everyone attending next year! Pass na muna siguro ako. Arrive early then suffer after the show, ganun. Yikes,” she said.
