Herlene Budol is thankful for the busy schedule that she has
Kapuso actress Herlene Budol said that it is better for her to get tired doing different showbiz engagements than being jobless.
Herlene is one of the busiest showbiz personalities these days. Aside from her new TV series Magandang Dilag, she also has some guest appearances and endorsements. This year, she also continued her pageant journey as she joined Miss Grand Philippines.
With her busy schedule, rumors surfaced that her teleserye co-stars got angry because allegedly their shoots were delayed to give way to her other engagements.
However, Herlene Budol clarified in a previous interview that there is no truth to this. She said that even though she is doing other projects, she stressed that there is no issue with this, based on the article in Inquirer.
“My other engagements were also obligations. But they weren’t an issue. It’s give and take when it comes to scheduling. I don’t know where that came from. But still, I’m thankful for the write-ups. Good or bad, publicity is still publicity,” she said.
She also stressed that she respects he co-stars and they value their time. Herlene is grabbing every opportunity that comes along her way right now. It is because she is the breadwinner. If she will not work, she will not be able to put food on their table.
“’Di baleng walang tulog. Napapagod ako pero ‘pag ‘di ako napagod wala kaming pera, pagkain, kahit ano. It’s much better to tire yourself doing something worthwhile instead of doing nothing. Pagod, pawis at dugo ang puhunan ko,” she said.
When asked if she is not afraid that she will not feel burned out, she said that she will not because it will be shameful to feel that when other people would dream to have the opportunities that she has now.
The Kapuso actress also said that she will not take anything for granted. “I will love my career and take care of it,” Herlene Budol stressed.
