Marco Gumabao Speaks About Relationship w/ Cristine’s Daughter

Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao speak about Amarah.

MARCO GUMABAO – Celebrity couple Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao talk about Amarah and the actor’s relationship with the child.

On February 8, 2015, Cristine Reyes gave birth to her preterm baby Amarah. She is her daughter with her husband Ali Khatibi. The couple are living low-key when they we still together but Ali and Cristine’s feeds are filled with updates about Amarah.

And now, years after, Ali and Cristine have separated but despite the separation, they have a good co-parenting relationship.

Ali is a present father in Amarah’s life and Cristine is now in a relationship with actor Marco Gumabao. In a lie detector challenge with Bea Alonzo, one of the topics they talked about was the actor’s relationship with her daughter.

He was asked, “Kamusta ang relationship mo with Amarah?

According to Marco, he is close to Amarah. He described it as “sobrang okay” and that Amarah is really a sweet child. He even revealed that years way back when Amarah was still a baby, he already has a soft spot for her.

For him, Amarah is really like Cristine’s “2.0”, especially in terms of their physical features.

As for Cristine, she is sometimes surprised by the closeness of the two. She did not do anything to force their closeness as she wanted it to happen naturally and organically. And it did and she is happy about it.

“Natutuwa ako. Naturally, organically gusto ko ganun ang mangyari. I wanna see her reactions. I need to guide her, to help her. Natutuwa ako everytime si Marco would visit us. She would ano talaga stand up and hug Marco,” she shared.

Meanwhile, in the same interview, Marco talked about the photo that confirmed their relationship. Accordingly, it was taken in Siargao and it was something he did to surprise her. Also, one of the reasons why he posted is because it was also the day they celebrated their first month as a couple.
