Gigi De Lana shared the hardships she is going through
Singer Gigi de Lana revealed that the money that was intended to pay for her mother’s hospital bill was scammed.
Gigi is known for her versatile voice. Through her YouTube channel, she showcases her wide range when it comes to singing. She is also known for having a fantastic band with her that can almost play any song.
Just recently, the singer shared that she is going through a tough time. Aside from her own health problem, she and her band figured in a car accident.
Gigi de Lana is also taking care of her mom who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. With all these obstacles, the singer faced another trial. Based on the article in Inquirer, Gigi was victimized by a scammer.
“Please be kind. Simula nung naaksidente kami from car accident, ang dami na nang-scam sa akin. Ninakawan ako sa BDO, kinuha lahat ng laman. [Pang-medical] bills sana ‘yun ni mama kaso wala [kayong] awa,” the singer wrote in her recent Facebook post.
This is her response to those who are accusing her of acting pitiful after the car accident. Gigi recalled the time when the scammer even called her and wished for her fast recovery.
“Sinabihan pa ako sa phone call ng, ‘Get well soon po kay Ma’am Gigi,’ tapos after no’n ninakawan na ako nang tuloy-tuloy hanggang sa maubos laman. Grabe kayo. Di na kayo naawa,” Gigi de Lana said.
Meanwhile, just recently, the singer held an auction and many netizens reacted to her cropped top that was one of the items included in this.
