Cristy Fermin and Her Co-hosts Reacts to Statement of Pokwang on Her Case vs Lee O’Brian
Veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin and her co-hosts react to Pokwang statement on her case against her ex-husband.
In one of the episodes of “Showbiz No Na!”, Cristy Fermin, Rommel Chika, and Wendell Alvarez couldn’t stop laughing as they discussed comedian Pokwang’s article. This comes after the comedian stated that her deportation appeal against her former lover Lee O’Brian is ‘for her nation’.
Cristy discussed Pokwang’s decision to request that the Bureau of Immigration (BI) deport Lee for working in the Philippines while merely on a tourist visa. Cristy explained that Pokwang’s behavior was acceptable because the comic was angry over her failed relationship.
However, they couldn’t stop laughing when Pokwang said, “Para sa karapatan ko at ng anak ko, para sa mga kapwa ko babae at para sa bayan ko.”
Wendell responded to Pokwang’s statement by questioning the comedian why she is involving the entire country in her relationship troubles. “Anong kinalaman ko doon? Nagpakasarap ka doon [kay Lee], nagpakasasa ka tapos ngayon idadamay mo kami,” Wendell asked.
They also discussed the potential of Pokwang assisting Lee in overstaying and working in the Philippines, so making her an accessory. Cristy also chastised Pokwang for pursuing legal action against the netizens who opposed her.
“Alam mo ‘yung binulabog mo ang kuta ng langgam ay lalo kang bubulabugin,” she said in the show.
“Tignan mo ang nangyayari ngayon, lalo siyang bina-bash, na ‘buti iniwan ka na ni Lee O’Brian, ganyan pala ugali mo’,” she added.
