Ogie Diaz talked about his role as a father and talent manager

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz has this answer when asked if he is ready to reconcile with actress Liza Soberano.

For a decade, Ogie was the one handling Liza’s showbiz career together with ABS-CBN’s Star Magic. However, an issue surfaced between them after Liza decided to leave Ogie’s management.

It is because of the fierce statement that Liza had in interviews that apparently put Ogie in a bad light. The talent manager-vlogger tried to answer the issues that were brought up by his former talent and the gap continue to widen.

In a recent interview for the Father’s Day celebration, based on the article in PUSH, Ogie Diaz shared that he really gives importance to his relationship with his five daughters. He said that his kids keep him sane because they are good for his mental health.

Ogie also shared that his kids are vital in making him know the thoughts and feelings of Gen Z. “Hindi ko kailangan lumabas para malaman kung ano ang saloobin ng Gen Z so sila, nababasa ko na agad, nababalitaan ko na agad or sila mismo nagkukuwento ng mga latest,” he said.

When it comes to being a talent manager, Ogie is portraying the role of a second father to his talents. At this point, the issue that he had with Liza was brought up. The talent manager said, just like what he expressed in previous statements, that he will always be grateful to Liza.

It is because he acknowledges the things that the actress has done for him and for his family. However, Ogie stressed that he has to defend his credibility as well and speak his truth, his side of the story.

When asked if he is willing to reconcile with Liza Soberano, Ogie Diaz answered, “Kapag binati ako ni Liza jusko baka hindi ko na siya pakawalang yakapin kasi nga na mis ko yung bata. Namis ko yung dating siya.”

Then, he clarified that he holds no grudge toward his former “alaga.” Ogie said that there were people who have done wrong to him but he is not completely condemning them.
