Aiko Melendez said something about her ex-husband
Seasoned actress Aiko Melendez admitted that she is not yet ready to work with her ex-husband actor Jomari Yllana.
Aiko and Jomari have a son named Andre Yllana who is now establishing his own name in the entertainment industry. In a recent vlog that Aiko shared, she and Snooky Serna was talking about the celebrities they don’t want to work with, based on the article in Bandera.
Aiko admitted that she is not yet comfortable seeing herself being in a project with her ex-husband.
The actress-politician explained her choice of not working with Jomari. “Ganito ate may explanation ako kung bakit ayaw ko. Si Jomari ayaw ko muna siyang makatrabaho kasi hindi pa namin naaayos ‘yung relationship namin kahit na civil,” Aiko Melendez said.
She added that it will be difficult to work with someone if there is still awkwardness between them. “Not because I don’t wanna work with him anymore it’s just that hindi pa kasi kami okay, so, ‘yun,” Aiko added.
Snooky took the challenge of eating the pork’s tongue because she can’t say her answer publicly regarding this topic. On the other hand, she praised Aiko for being honest.
Then, Aiko revealed that “two weeks ago,” there was a project that was offered to her. It was a soap opera but she declined because it is with Jomari.
“And I said na I want to protect also Andre our son and ang pangit na pagpipiyestahan na naman kami magpapansinan and just for bread trip lang gagawin namin ‘wag na lang,” Aiko Melendez further explained.
Currently, the seasoned actress is in a relationship with Zambales First District Representative Jay Khonghun while Jomari Yllana is set to get married to Abby Viduya, who was his girlfriend during their teenage years.
