Filipina singer Gigi De Lana earns negative comments from netizens after she puts her iconic crop top for auction.
The artist recently held an auction on her social media account for the crop top she wore when she became viral. Gigi auctioned her used crop top, when she sang the viral video of her band members in the song “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita” while raising the tone, which eventually became a challenge.
Gigi’s Facebook post reads, “Own a piece of OPM and YouTube PH History! Gigi Vibes Auction 02 LATEST BID: ₱68k!!!”
“Up for grabs is the iconic crop top worn by Gigi De Lana in the viral sensation ‘Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita’ music video. This one-of-a-kind item will be framed and personally signed, plus a chance to meet ang Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes! Serious bidders only. Invalid bids will be deleted,” she wrote.
However, due of the apparently pricey sale of her old crop top, Gigi received a barrage of harsh remarks from netizens. It was Gigi De Lana’s admirers and supporters that defended her.
In defense of her followers and supporters, Gigi is doing this to help her cancer-stricken mother. Not to add his own thyroid issue, which is why he can’t sing right now.
Gigi posted screenshots of people backing her on Facebook. Her only response was Bible passages. “Thank you for the positive comments. For those who are angry with me. Luke 23:34 “Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they’re doing,’” she said.
Aside from the famous crop top, Gigi is selling pre-owned products such as other outfits and luggage, the most of which are branded. Gigi has been selling pre-owned apparel on the street, despite the fact that she claims she has nothing to do because she has no gigs scheduled.
