The Unihertz Tank 2 (8849) was officially announced on May 30, 2023, and released on June 12, 2023. The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 15,000 mAh battery + 66W charger. It was launched in a single color, Mixed Grey.
Body & Display:
The rugged smartphone comes with a screen size of 6.8 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. It is built with a glass front and a plastic body.
Platform:
Tank 2 (8849) runs on the Android 12 operating system. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. It is packed with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 512GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Unihertz Tank 2 (8849) consists of a 108-megapixel + 64-megapixel (night vision) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide). It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, face detection, Quad IR LED flash (Night Vision), and dual LED flash (main camera).
