Pokwang Reveals Why It’s Hard to Forgive Ex-partner Lee O’Brian
POKWANG – Kapuso actress and host Marietta Tan Subong, known professionally as Pokwang, explained why it’s difficult for her to forgive her ex-partner Lee O’Brian.
The split between Pokwang and Lee O’Brian created a huge buzz on all social media platforms. It was initially silent after the breakup confirmation appeared online, however, it became noisy when the actress began to discuss what she actually went through.
She keeps fighting her war even though she has been met with negative reactions for expressing how she feels. That battle led to the court.
Pokwang personally went to the Bureau of Immigration on June 13 to initiate the deportation proceedings against her ex-partner. After she took that action, Tita Jegs, Ogie’s co-host on his YouTube show Showbiz Update, interviewed her.
When asked why she is so adamant about doing so, Pokwang said that it is necessary and nearly time to make Lee leave the Philippines. She emphasized further that it’s not simply because she’s upset with him. She said, “May na violate siya sa batas.” She added that it would be unjust for someone like Lee to have it easy in the nation given the difficulties Filipinos face when traveling abroad.

Just recently, Pokwang responded to a netizen to give her perspective on the events surrounding her ongoing dispute with Lee. The netizen urged the actress to forgive Lee so that Malia wouldn’t be fatherless.
The Kapuso actress said that Lee’s lack of humility makes it impossible to forgive him. She is done being a martyr, and claims she is sick of having to always appease Lee. She further asserted that Lee had already missed numerous chances to express his love for Malia. She added that Lee had lost every reason to remain with her and Malia.
“Paano ka magpapatawad sa taong di marunong magpakumbaba? Paano yon? Tapos na ako sa pagiging martir, tapos na ako sa kaka adjust,” said Pokie.
