Buboy Villar Reacts to Rumors Claiming He Will Leave New Eat Bulaga
Actor-comedian and TV host Buboy Villar speaks on rumors claiming that he will allegedly leave the new Eat Bulaga.
The host of the rebranded Eat Bulaga has denied reports that he had resigned from the noontime show. Several reports have circulated on social media that the actor-comedian may step down as host of the noontime show.
Buboy stated in a statement on Wednesday that the show’s entertainment part will continue. He then warned the public not to believe misleading information.
Buboy was conspicuously absent from the show’s opening on that same Wednesday. However, he later appeared with a sense of humour, humorously explaining why he was late to join the others.
“Sorry, Dabarkads, ha. Sumakit lang yung panubigan ko. Sorry, pantog pala,” he said with jest.
He also stated that news of his resignation were false, and he assured the audience that they will continue to deliver happiness and joy to their viewers. Buboy also jokingly chastised Paolo, one of his co-hosts, for being too prone to believing in fake news.
“Ayan ang mahirap kasi sa ‘yo, Paolo, masyado kang naniniwala sa fake news. Tuloy ang pagpapasaya nation!” he said.
He highlighted that their entertaining portion would continue uninterrupted. Buboy was one of the hosts added on June 5, following the departure of the show’s original hosts and TVJ on May 31, 2023.
