Ria Atayde is ready to be Maine Mendoza’s sister-in-law
Kapamilya actress Ria Atayde is excited to welcome Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza into the family, as the wife of her brother actor-politician Arjo Atayde.
Ria was able to create a strong bond with Maine. The latter has been spotted at Atayde’s family bonding times. Even the Atayde matriarch, Sylvia Sanchez, even expressed her fondness to have the Phenomenal Star in their family.
This year, Arjo and Maine are set to tie the knot. The celebrity couple chose not to speak more details of their wedding.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Ria Atayde expressed that she is ready to welcome the new addition to their family. “I’m very excited. I’m very happy. You know, it’s like an added member to our family. I’m sure glad it’s Maine,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Ria will be the secondary sponsor in her brother’s wedding and of course, her undying role of being a supportive sister to Arjo is always active.
“Hayaan natin sila to have the wedding that they want. It’s their wedding. Let them. At most (the things that I contribute are) if (they) ask questions like, ‘Hey what’s nice?’ or I’ll give my opinion, but only when it’s needed. No unsolicited advice or anything,” Ria said about Arjo and Maine’s wedding.
When asked if she is next in line to get married, she answered, “Hala… sabay si Xavi (younger brother) ano.” Ria is currently in a relationship with actor Zanjoe Marudo. She said that they do not have a plan yet to settle down.
The actress also shared that she does not feel any pressure that she should get married next after Arjo. On the other hand, it is inevitable that she is the next child after Arjo.
