Ninong Ry Reacts To Michael V’s Parody Of Him

NINONG RY – Celebrity chef and content creator Ninong Ry reacted to the impersonation Michael V. did of him in the most recent episode of Bubble Gang.

Ryan Morales Reyes, often known online as “Ninong Ry” is a culinary graduate from De La Salle University-College of St. Benilde. He made his debut in 2020 and has since become a celebrity.

You’ll notice a recurring trend if you watch any of his home cooking videos: well-lit backgrounds, ASMR-level sounds, and his special take on a well-known Filipino food. The real kicker is his unvarnished, even casual approach to cooking, which inspires viewers to consider whether they would be able to prepare similar meals.

One of Ninong Ry’s many appeals is his ability to make people laugh as well as drool over his creations. Even his video titles are clickbait for any Filipino who needs to unwind after a stressful day.

Last month, Kapuso comedian Michael V. teased his Ninong Ry imitation which thrilled the culinary vlogger and internet users. The most recent episode of “Bubble Gang” included Bitoy’s Ninong Cry teaching viewers how to make the most bitter Ginisang Ampalaya. The video got quite a response from content creator Ninong Ry.

Ninong Ry, known for his crazy-good food-related videos and distinguished by his black t-shirt, black cap, and round spectacles, is the subject of Michael V.’s spoof, Ninong Cry.

Ninong Cry was overcome with grief in Friday’s episode of “Bubble Gang” due to the loss of a partner and her thankfulness for having so many subscribers. Given that Ginisang Ampalaya was his ex’s favorite dish, he explained how to make it.

“Paboritong ulam ng ex ko, mga pre…”

“Ito ang pinakamapait na ampalayang nagawa ko,” he added.

“Kuhang kuha!” This is how Ninong Ry, is described in Michael V.’s impersonation of him as Ninong Cry. The celebrity chef gave a sneak peek to his “inaanak” on Instagram that they watched this sketch by Bitoy in Bubble Gang last June 9.

It can also be seen in the comment section that Kuya Kim Atienza commented, “Hahaha genius siya no?”
