Pauline Amelinckx Condemns Pageant Fans Who Disparage Other Beauty Queens

PAULINE AMELINCKX – Beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx has spoken up against negative remarks being thrown at her fellow beauty queens.

One of the pageant veterans who joined Miss Universe Philippines 2023 was Pauline Amelinckx. She was a fan favorite, and pageant fans were already looking forward to her representing the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe competition.

However, Michelle Dee, a Kapuso actress and beauty queen, won the MUPH 2023 crown while the Boholana beauty was crowned as Miss Supranational PH.

Pauline Amelinckx admitted feeling a little bummed over not being crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023. She also admitted that there are things she can improve upon after doing some self-reflection and considering what happened.

Recently, the Boholana-Belgian stunner took to her Instagram account to speak up against negative comments being thrown at her fellow beauty queens. She said that some comments are “disguised as support” for their chosen bets.

Pauline Amelinckx shared a snap with her fellow MUPH 2023 candidates on IG last Friday, June 9. When a fan’s favorite contestant enters a beauty pageant “supporting other women” should be their goal.

Pauline said that one of the things that keep her going in the pageant industry is the encouragement of her fellow beauty queens. Amelinckx continued by emphasizing that contestants’ supporters should “choose kindness” and that she “will not stand” for people who bring “other queens down.”

“Genuine support and kindness is so impactful as it carries us through. But I will not stand for supporting a bet (kahit sino man!) if it is by bringing other queens down. It’s so disappointing to see this happen online. and if thats the way you show support, i can only implore you to rethink your actions and chose kindness instead. lifting one person up doesnt need to be through the destruction of someone else.”
