Pokwang shared photos with Fernando Carrillo
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang teased her upcoming project with Venezuelan actor Fernando Carrillo.
Fernando rose to fame in the Philippines during the height of Mexican telenovelas. His TV series with Thalia titled Rosalinda was a big hit in the Philippines. Through this project, these foreign stars became household names in the country.
Just recently, it was reported that Fernando visited the Philippines and the reason or one of the reasons why he is here is a project with Pokie.
On June 11, the Kapuso comedienne shared photos on her Instagram page featuring Fernando Carrillo. “Ayun na nga!!! new project with mr. @ferrcarrillo waaaa cant wait!!!!!” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Pokwang also used teh hashtag “FerPok” which is a combinaton of their names. In the comment section of her post, several netizens expressed excitement about this upcoming project.
“Very lucky’ ang haba ng hair ni mommy Pokie,” Instagram user @zenfinity commented while Instagram user @joy_yanniverse said, “Pinagpala ka Ms. Pokwang.”
As of the writing, no further details were revealed about this upcoming project of the Kapuso comedienne and the Venezuelan actor.
To recall, this is not Pokie’s first project in which she has a foreign leading man. In 2014, she did the movie Edsa Woolworth with American actor Lee O’Brian who became her real-life partner for six years.
However, it is known to many showbiz fans that their breakup was quite controversial as Pokie made revelations against her former partner.
Meanwhile, Fernando Carrillo shared in a recent interview that he dated seasoned journalist Korina Sanchez in the past.
