Joey de Leon made a revelation about the upcoming wedding of Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde
Henyo Master Joey de Leon said that Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde’s wedding will be aired on the new TVJ show on TV5.
One of the most anticipated celebrity unions that will happen this year is the wedding of Maine and Arjo. Previously, the celebrity couple already shared that they will tie the knot this 2023 but they haven’t provided the exact date yet.
Fans, family, and friends are definitely excited about this. Arjo did an extravagant proposal and somehow people are anticipating a grand wedding.
In a report recently published on Philstar Life’s site, it was said that Joey de Leon already expressed to the public that the Maine Mendoza-Arjo Atayde nuptial will be shown on TV5. Joey, his iconic trio TVJ with Tito and Vic Sotto decided to leave TAPE Inc. and signed a contract with the Kapatid network.
They are joined by the rest of the Dabarkads. This means that Maine, as well as other hosts of the original Eat Bulaga, will be seen on TVJ’s new show on TV5.
In an interview, Joey mentioned that their new show will start very soon. This is in time with the celebration of the 44th anniversary of the longest-running noontime show. He also mentioned another very important occasion.
“We will start in a few days. Yes (immediately). Hindi na namin papatagalin kasi hinahanap na rin ng mga katawan namin. Ang maganda nito, we’re already airing during our 44th anniversary and the wedding of Maine. So ‘yun yung mga big events na aabangan niyo,” the Henyo Master shared.
Rumors surfaced that the wedding will happen this July and Arjo Atayde said that it will definitely happen this year but the details are still vague. “To be honest po, I can’t also say it yet, we want to keep it personal,” the actor-politician said in a previous interview.
