Supermarket Merchandiser Arranged Noodles Based on Philippine Flag Colors
A merchandiser at a supermarket along Sayre Highway in Valencia City, Bukidnon, gained admiration after meticulously arranging noodles according to the colors of the Philippine flag.
This display of support for the upcoming celebration of the 125th Philippine Independence Day on June 12 caught the attention of many.
Photos of the well-organized noodles, resembling the Philippine flag, were shared on Facebook by “Bhen-j Agudera.” The post quickly went viral, showcasing the merchandiser’s creative arrangement on the store shelves.
Impressed by the display, the brand of noodles that Agudera used reached out to him, expressing their gratitude and requesting permission to share his post on their page for other Lucky Me! fans to see.
“Hi, Bhen-j! Thank you for sharing this Happy We! moment. Can we share your post on our page so other Lucky Me! fans can see it too?” commented the brand.
Agudera gladly gave his consent, expressing his joy at the recognition.
Agudera revealed that this was not the first time he had organized noodles to resemble the Philippine flag. He had done similar displays in other supermarkets where he had been assigned.
He dedicated around two hours to accomplish this particular arrangement.
“Naisipan ko kasi last year ginawa ko rin po ‘yan sa ibang outlet/grocery na na-assign ako… tinry ko lang po ngayon sa NVM Supermarket kasi malapit na rin yung Independence day,” Agudera explained.
Concerns were raised about customers potentially disrupting the arrangement while selecting their purchases. Agudera clarified that he allowed customers to take the noodles they wanted and refilled the display once they had left.
Netizens, appreciating Agudera’s creativity and diligence, made a request and appeal for the company or supermarket to provide him with a bonus, incentive, or a supply of noodles as a reward for his exceptional work.
The social media users expressed their reactions to the post:
