The TCL 40 XE was officially announced on February 26, 2023. The 5G-ready smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery + 18W wired charging. It was launched in a single color, Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the phone is 164.1 x 74.9 x 9 mm and weighs 195 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.56 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is built with a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 (7 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. It runs on the Android 13 + TCL UI operating system. It is integrated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the TCL 40 XE consists of a 13-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro). It features an LED flash, HDR, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel (wide) camera.
The device’s sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass, gyro, and barometer. It also features WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and USB Type-C 2.0.
