GERALD ANDERSON – The Star Magic All-Star Games 2023 is Gerald Anderson’s last game and here’s his post about it.
The Star Magic All-Star Games is where celebrities under ABS-CBN’s talent agency gather to compete in various sports. This year, they competed in basketball, badminton, volleyball, and an e-sports game.
Badminton had three levels—beginners, intermediate, and competitive while there’s a basketball game for the rookies. The competing teams were the Star Hunt Mixed Rookies and the Star Magic Mixed Rookies. An exciting volleyball match also occurred between the Star Magic Lady Spikers and the Star Magic Lady Setters.
And the one that concluded the event was the most anticipated part, the game between Showtime Team and the Star Magic Dream Team. The teams were composed of some of the most popular Kapamilya stars. Team Showtime came out victorious.
One of the Star Magic Dream Team members was Gerald Anderson. He played well and made 11 points. But in his recent Instagram post, he announced his decision that this year’s play will be his last game.
He first talked about how great the game turned out last weekend and how honored he is to be able to play for Star Magic. He is also among the pioneers to join the Star Magic Games land joining this particular is something he considers one of the highlights of his career.
However, everything comes to an end and this includes the good things.
“I’ll be taking a backseat now but I’m very excited for the new generation to take over,” he expressed. The actor then added this message for the champions, “Showtime you played as a family & played your hearts out 👊🏼 well deserved win.”
