Celebrity Neri Miranda, also knowns as the “Wais na Misis,” offered help to a single mother from Quezon City with triplets.

Neri is admired for being “wais” or wise when it comes to finances and organizing their home and businesses. She also receives positive comments for sharing her blessings with people working for her, and even those who she doesn’t know personally.

Just recently, the wife of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda shared a post about a single mom.

In a report from The Philippine Star, the single mother is 29-year-old Mariz Sharmaine Matibag. She gave birth to triplets on January 11, 2023. Mariz shared that in her second pregnancy, she went through a hard time physically and emotionally.

She learned that she was pregnant two weeks after her father died. Mariz had mixed reactions to this. She cried and worried because she was not prepared. Then, after the ultrasound, she learned that she would have triplets. With this, she immediately thought that the expenses will be three times.

Two weeks after giving birth, Mariz lost her husband. “Ako na lang talaga mag-isa. Hindi ko alam kung saan pupulutin lahat [ng] mga kailangang gastusin para sa mga anak ko,” she said.

After knowing about Mommy Mariz, Neri Miranda asked her followers to help her contact the single mother. The celebrity offered that she will give Mommy Mariz baby stuff. She also said that she will give the single mother capital to start her own business.

“Mommy Mariz, isang mahigpit na yakap po. Magpakatatag ka para sa mga anak mo,” Neri said.
