Pokwang Says She’s Not Reconciling W/ Ex-partner Lee O’Brian
POKWANG – Marietta Subong, known professionally as Pokwang said she is not reconciling with former partner Lee O’Brian.
To recall, Lee O’Brian and Pokwang first met in 2014 through the film Edsa Woolworth. For many years, Lee was inactive in acting endeavors while the actress continued to appear in playing roles on the Kapamilya network and afterward the Kapuso network.
Pokie and Lee’s breakup is quite a controversial one. The actress apparently suffered hardships and problems while she was dating Lee after she tried to protect him from critics.
Lee O’Brian was silent for a very long period. But recently, when asked how he felt about Pokwang’s outburst against him, he simply replied that he adored his daughter and had always had a soft spot in his heart for her mother.
On May 18, Pokie posted a fiery message to Twitter. She expressed her confusion over why Lee sent her a Mother’s Day message when he hadn’t done so in the previous two years and that he had never even wished her a happy birthday.

In an interview with journalist and vlogger Karen Davila, Pokwang stated that there is no chance for her and Lee O’Brian to get back together. She said that being busy at work is her way to move on.
“Sa trabaho. Sa dami ng trabaho ko ngayon, sobrang thankful ako, sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa mga tao na binabato ako ng trabaho ngayon…”
“Sabi nga nila, ‘napaka tanga mo naman, hindi ka na nadala,’ ganun talaga e nagmahal ka e.
“Walang taong matalino pagdating sa pagmamahal. Nagiging bobo tayong lahat.”
“And kung ano man ‘yun, naging masaya ka naman and kunin mo ‘yung lesson, ‘yun lang ‘yun. Hindi para manisi ka pa,” she continued.
“Ngayon siguro, magtatrabaho nalang ako nang magtatrabaho. Mas magpapayaman ako ng bonggang bongga para doon sa mga anak ko. Para malaki naman ‘yung maiiwan ko sa mga anak ko.”
When asked if she could still get back with Lee. She said, “Hindi na. Bakit pa, hindi ba. Hindi naman niya kami pinili na e. So ano pa ‘yun? Tama na.”
