Julian Martir Wants to be a Quantum Scientist After Being Accepted in 30 Universities Abroad
JULIAN MARTIR – The controversial student who was accepted into 30 universities abroad wants to be a quantum scientist.
Julian Martir, the son of a tricycle driver and a vendor, has already received 30 admission scholarships from universities in the United States and the United Kingdom. His family had no idea he had applied for university scholarships in over 40 nations, the majority of which were in the United States and the United Kingdom.
He began applying as an international student two years ago, and he began accumulating criteria in August 2022. Because he was drawn to math after elementary school, he enrolled in mathematics and computer science studies at the aforementioned universities.
In an interview, he stated that he aspires to be a quantum scientist, similar to what he sees in the popular superhero film “Avengers.” He also stated that he planned to create a biomechanic prototype for spectacles that would allow him to speak with animals.
“I want to be a quantum scientist po, kasi makikita mo yan sa mga Avengers,” he said in the interview.
He added, “guto kong i-build yung biomechanics prototype po para magagamit siya sa mga glasses po na pwede tayong maka-communicate sa mga animals po.”
Meanwhile, netizens are beginning to mistrust the 20-year-old Negros Occidental student. The principal of Negros Occidental High School, where Martir graduated, Donna Bella Atosaga, declined to validate his story. So far, they have not gotten a response from schools in the United States or the United Kingdom confirming whether Martir was truly offered a scholarship.
Julian wins an honor, according to Atosaga, even though he is not valedictorian. She stated that Julian requested a recommendation from their school last year in order to apply for a scholarship.
