Matteo Guidicelli officially signed a contract with GMA-7
Actor-host Matteo Guidicelli shared the reaction of his wife Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo to his transfer to GMA-7.
Matteo officially had his contract signing as a Kapuso. This took several months since the rumors surfaced that he will switch networks. The actor-host had stints in ABS-CBN and TV5 as he is being managed by Viva Artist Agency.
During the contract signing event, Matteo said in jest that he will bring someone to GMA next year. When everyone thought that he might be referring to his wife, he said that he was talking about his mother.
Based on the article by entertainment writer Jun Nardo in Pang-Masa, Matteo Guidicelli was asked about the reaction of his wife now that he is in GMA already. “Masaya siya at answered ang prayers namin,” the actor-host said.
Aside from the longest-running morning show Unang Hirit, Matteo will also be a part of the series Black Rider featuring Ruru Madrid. It was said that in the series, the husband of Sarah will play the second lead.
Rumor has it that Matteo and Sarah promised each other that they will not do any project that might affect their married life. It was said that this is the reason why that as much as possible, they are avoiding projects with a “love angle.”
Meanwhile, Sarah’s 20th-anniversary concert was held at the Araneta Coliseum on May 12 and Matteo was one of the special guests. A video of the couple went viral when Matteo kissed Sarah before he went off the stage.
It can be seen that composer Louie Ocampo, sitting at the piano behind them, flashed a “kilig” reaction as he was looking at the couple.
