Did Heart Evangelista really snub Alex Gonzaga and Vicki Belo?
Kapuso star Heart Evangelista reacted to rumors that she snubbed actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga and celebrity doctor Vicki Belo at the Milan Fashion Week.
To recall, in November 2022, Vicki shared a vlog in which she and Alex talked about their experiences when they attended the Milan Fashion Week and Heart was also there in the said fashion event.
Alex said that the fashion icon snubbed them. She jokingly added that in Manila they are friends but apparently, that was not the same thing during the fashion event.
Vicki added that the Kapuso star did not even say “hi” even though they were in the front row as well. After this snubbing issue went viral, Alex Gonzaga clarified that Heart Evangelista is not a snob.
Heart has spoken about this in a recent guesting on Fast Talk. This was one of the issues brought up by King of Talk Boy Abunda. “Hindi ko naman siya nakita,” the fashion icon said.
She explained that she was not there to chit-chat. It was a fashion event and for her this is art. “Again, baka sa mga hindi nakakaintindi, but it’s art and you appreciate art. And for me, ‘yun talaga ‘yung hilig ko, eh. So, talagang nagpo-focus, especially, it was a Gucci show,” Heart stressed.
Meanwhile, Heart Evangelista also clarified that she is not leaving the Philippines even though she now has an apartment in Paris where most of her fashion stints are concentrated.
The Kapuso star said that the Philippines is still her home and she is thinking of the welfare of her pets. She added that her husband Senator Chiz Escudero will just go to Paris.
