Heart Evangelista opens up about what she and Chiz Escudero went through
Fashion icon Heart Evangelista talked about the status of her relationship with her husband Senator Chiz Escudero after the “problem”.
It is known to many showbiz fans that rumors surfaced that Heart and Sen. Chiz’s marriage was on the rocks. There were speculations that they are no longer together but eventually, they debunked the breakup rumors.
In a recent guesting on Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Heart did not elaborate on the problem that she and her husband went through. However, she opened up about the status of their relationship now.
The Kapuso star said that all relationships, whether friendship, marriages or even the professional level, really undergo problems once in a while.
“I felt that, as individuals, even if you are married or even if you’re committed to someone or a friend or whatever, you really have to go through certain things and deal with them alone and really ponder about what you want in life,” Heart Evangelista said.
Despite undergoing this kind of situation, the fashion icon said that she is thankful that her partner is Sen. Chiz.
“And the nice thing about being in a marriage with Chiz is that he has always respected the many seasons of my life that I’m going through,” the famous celebrity said.
She also cited that she and Chiz have a 15-year age gap and she is a late bloomer. With this, there are things that she discovers late and she is thankful that her husband is very supportive.
Heart said that she appreciates Chiz because of this. “His love is very unconditional,” she added. When asked about the important thing in her life right now, the fashion icon cited, “My life and how I live it. My freedom, my choices.“
She also stressed that she does not want to live in a box anymore where she is being told what to do and follow the mold she is being put into. “Pagod na pagod ako dun. Pagod ako,” Heart said.
The Kapuso star said that after playing different kinds of characters for many years, she is just happy that she is finally being herself. She is enjoying playing herself and she realized that people love this as well.
Heart Evangelista pointed out that above all these, there is one thing that is very important for her. “But love is love. And, kunin niyo na lahat, you can have all the richness in the world, but if you have no love in your life, it’s not a life worth living,” she stressed.
