Ate Lakam expresses a message for Kim Chiu and thanked her for never leaving her side.
KIM CHIU – Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu receives a message from her sister Ate Lakam after the latter’s hospitalization.
On the day of Kim Chiu’s birthday, her sister she calls Ate Lakam got hospitalized. Her real condition was not disclosed but she was put in ICU. Instead of holding a celebration, Kim celebrated her birthday in a hospital.
She expressed, “Everything happened in a snap of a finger. She is my strength, and now the word strength becomes blurry.”
Fortunately, days after, her sister finally regained consciousness based to a previous article. It was accordingly a miracle and she is grateful to God and the people for her Ate’s recovery.
After making sure that her Ate has become better, she distributed food for the less fortunate to mark her 33rd birthday. She wrote in her post, “I couldn’t ask for any other birthday celebration than to see their hands full and happy faces. Heart is full.”
And just recently, in a post where Kim shared an encouraging message, her Ate Lakam left a message thanking her. She is grateful to her sister for not leaving her side and expressed that because of her, she was given another purpose to live.
“I’m able to open my eyes every morning because of you. And I regained my purpose in life the second time around because of you. I couldn’t thank you enough for everything you have done!” she said.
Meanwhile, Kim just recently received praise from the people because of her generous and kind act towards the contestants of one of the segments of Showtime. From her own pocket, she took out a huge amount to give them Php 5k each.
