Ruru Madrid and Paul Salas did an intense confrontation scene
Kapuso actors Ruru Madrid and Paul Salas did an intense scene in The Write One and the shooting had to be stopped because of this.
The said romantic drama fantasy series, features actress Bianca Umali as the leading lady and it is directed by King Mark Baco. It is aired on GMA every weeknight at 9:35 PM and 11:25 on GTV. On Viu, advanced episodes are aired on Saturdays-Tuesdays.
Ruru and Paul did a confrontation scene with much enthusiasm in being their characters. In a video shared on GMA Public Affairs’ Twitter page, it can be seen that Ruru was not in good condition.
He was sitting while a towel is on his chest and surgical gloves with apparent cold water were on his shoulders. His girlfriend Bianca was sitting beside him and assisting him while Paul was on the other side with his apologetic facial expression.
The two got carried away when they did their emotional confrontation scene. It can be seen that Paul was grabbing Ruru by his neck while saying his lines.
The shoot had to be stopped after that. Ruru Madrid had scratches and bruises on the neck and shoulder area. He immediately received first aid treatment and Paul Salas apologized for what happened.
However, this is not a big issue for the two actors because this is part of their job and “walang personalan.” The two actors promised that they will continue to do their best for their roles in The Write One.
This series is the first project of Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali together. The real-life couple also became guest co-hosts in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Through this, their fans were able to see a different side of them and not just the characters they portrayed.
