Rosmar Tan Victimized by Scammer who Allegedly Pretended as Sister of Toni Fowler
Social media personality and businesswoman Rosmar Tan loses P50k to a scammer who allegedly pretended to be a sister of vlogger Toni Fowler.
Rosmar Tan Pamulaklakin, CEO and social media personality, never imagined falling victim to a scammer. A scammer impersonating “Milk/Marie Fowler,” sister of social media sensation Toni Fowler, duped the businesswoman out of P50,000.
According to Rosmar, she assumed Milk was borrowing P100,000 from her. She is claimed to speak in the same manner as the actual Milk, thus she became complacent in lending the money demanded.
She added that because bank transfers have a restriction, she could only send P50,000. However, as she was going to transmit the second portion, she stated that it had been canceled three times and that it appeared that someone was blocking her from doing so.
Rosmar appears to have recognized and becomes skeptical at this point. She stated that she quickly contacted a well-known money transfer provider to terminate the account.
“And if ever meron din nagPAPANGGAP NA AKO? na nanghihingi ng peraaa? Wag kayo maniwala kasi never ako humingi kahit kanino ng kahit magkano! Ako pa nga namimigay di ba? So ayun, BLINOCK NA AKO NG NUMBER NA YAN. HAHAHAHA! Bahala ka dyan. Pangbiliiii mo nalang yan ng IPHONE 😆”, Rosmar continued.
Meanwhile, there has been no comment, reply, or statement from Milk or Toni on this. This is not the first time Rosmar has been duped by con artists. It should be noted that scammers used her information to get food from internet delivery applications.
