Jake has been very vocal about his love life. It is known to many that his breakup with actress Kylie Verzosa created a buzz on social media. He was open about what he felt after the breakup and was not even ashamed of showing his emotion.
A year after the breakup, netizens and showbiz fans noticed Jake’s glow. Many thought that there was something going on between him and Chie as he was leaving “kilig” comments on the actress’s social media post.
When Chie Filomena shared another post, netizens were already expecting Jake Cuenca would comment again. This sparked dating rumors.
Previously, the actor admitted that he is ready to date again. This came a year after his last relationship ended. During the Star Magic Hot Summer: LaHot Sexy event last Thursday, May 4, Jake was directly asked about the status of his relationship with Chie.
In a video clip posted on the official Instagram page of ABS-CBN, the actor has this answer, “I’m admiring her. I guess I can say that. She knew that I’m admiring her. But for anything, it’s just something ano lang—we’ve known each other for a while and we’re enjoying each other’s company.”
Meanwhile, Jake Cuenca continues to show how passionate he is when it comes to his craft. Previously, he shared that he is not afraid to become a has-been and the thing that gives him fear is that the possibility he could not act anymore.
The actor said that he can try another medium in order to continue acting. Aside from TV and movie, Jake is now doing theater.
