Where is Jane de Leon after the Darna series?
Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon shared the reason why she was silent after her the end of her Darna series.
After two years of waiting, Jane was named the new Darna. This was anticipated by many as a big break or something that would boost the career of the actress. Even though there were criticisms, fans of the actress showed their support for her.
When Darna ended in February this year, Jane became silent. Her fans started to ask what her next project would be.
Jane said that these trips were combinations of personal and work. She added that she went to Thailand for a project. She also said that they wanted this to be a surprise. “Kaya ngayong May actually ini-enjoy ko na ‘yung time ko kasi malapit nang mag-start ulit ‘yung mga project ko. Probably yeah, June,” Jane de Leon said.
In a recent interview for her Freshies by Juju Glow endorsement, based on the article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, Jane de Leon said that she is aware that people were asking where she is after Darna.
The actress shared that she took a vacation and shot some endorsement projects. She also shared that she has upcoming movies.
“After Darna ang dami ngang nagsasabi na nasaan na daw ako… ganyan. Inaantay nila ako. Hindi raw ako nagpapakita,” the actress said. Then, she stressed that not everything should be divulged in public.
“Ngayong taon yata ang dami kong bansa na pinuntahan. Pumunta akong Japan, Singapore, tapos may mga out of town din po ako and babalik po ulit kaming Japan this May, next month with my family and Bangkok din pala. Sa totoo lang ang dami rin po talagang ganap,” the actress said.
The actress added that she will do several movies and so her fans should wait for these.
