Gigi De Lana Slams Bashers Claiming She’s “Puro sigaw” That’s Why She Had Nodules in Throat
Singer Gigi De Lana reacts to bashers’ claims that she’s “puro sigaw” and that’s why she had nodules on her throat.
Gigi responded on Twitter to critics who said she had a lump in her throat because she was singing like she was yelling. Gigi claimed in her tweet that the haters had no idea what she was going through or why she had to work so hard.
“Yung may pinagdadaanan ka sa boses mo. Dami pa nag assume at nag judge kung bakit ako nag ka sakit sa throat. dahil puro sigaw daw ako?” Gigi said.
According to the singer, people who criticize her don’t know anything and ‘simply comment’. She also revealed the serious reason for her current busyness. The singer emphasized that she works hard for her mother.
“Malamang kakayod ako para sa nanay ko na may cancer. Ako lang anak niya eh. Sino kakayod?” former ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ contestant revealed in tweet.
Gigi has stated that she will take a two-month vacation from singing due to the discovery of nodules in her throat. She has to get it addressed before going back to work on gigs and other projects.
Gigi also acknowledged that she found it difficult to cease singing, especially since it was her source of income. Even though Gigi will be absent from the show for the time being, she has assured her fans that there will be an explosion when she returns in June.
“Yung naisip ko na if ever na mayroon talaga akong nodules ‘yung pagka-check up sa akin kailangan mong operahan ‘yung thought na hindi ka makaka-kanta, it’s hard,” she said.
“Siguro by June kasi as soon as possible kailangan kong mag-rest. Siguro one month of rest pero doon sa one month na iyon, trust me maraming mangyayari,” the singer said.
