Daniel Padilla Says Working W/ John Arcilla Motivates Him To Improve
DANIEL PADILLA – Actor Daniel Padilla said working with Volpi Award winner John Arcilla motivated him to level up his acting skills.
A-list star and Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla recently announced that he is set to work on three (3) movie projects. In a conference, it was revealed that one of the movies in which Daniel will appear is titled “The Guest” and will be directed by Jerrold Tarog and written by Patrick Valencia and Creative Manager Kookai Labayen.
The director describes this movie as a psychological suspense thriller with many unexpected turns. In this project, Daniel will co-star with award-winning actor John Arcilla.
John Arcilla has received nothing but praise from Daniel Padilla for agreeing to star in his newest film, “The Guest.” Arcilla referred to the young actor as the top heartthrob in the Philippine entertainment industry during the “New Movie Alert” event of Daniel.
“Isa sa pinakabatang Best Actor sa Philippines. Exciting sobra,” Arcilla said at the event.

Working with John Arcilla, who received the Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival for his role in “On The Job: The Missing 8,” inspires Daniel Padilla to level up his skills as an actor.
“I’m very excited dito gawin ‘yung film na ito kasi napakahusay na aktor. ‘Pag ganyan ang magiging katrabaho mo, it just pushes you to do better pa also,” Daniel continued.
“Kind of imagining it na nasa modern-themed war. Marami siyang twists and turns bilang nasa puso ko ‘yung kadiliman. Medyo mindf**k na pelikula siya,” Tarog said.
The movie also marks Tarog and Arcilla’s return to the screen after their collaboration on the popular film “Heneral Luna.” “The Guest” is scheduled to go into production this year and be released in 2024.
