John Arcilla Also Shares Who We Want To Be A Guest At His Concert
JOHN ARCILLA – Dirty Linen star and award-winning actor John Arcilla said he plans to hold a concert this year in the country.
The definition of an experienced actor is John Arcilla. He is a performer who has devoted years to both theater and screen roles. John is dedicated to honing his craft and has participated in acting workshops to improve his abilities.
John is best known for his role as Antonio Luna in the historical drama film “Heneral Luna.” He is regarded as a combination of an intuitive and studied actor. He has received numerous acting accolades and nominations both domestically and abroad, the most recent of which is his Best Actor award.
John Arcilla is the first Filipino to receive the Volpi Cup. In fact, he is on the right track to increasing his success in the industry, both locally and globally.
Just recently, the 56-year-old celebrity shared that he dreams to have his own concert. He shared this in an interview with him on the entertainment site PUSH.

According to John Arcilla, he and the producer of his movie “Suarez: The Healing Priest” are planning to do a concert this year. “Actually, sabi ko nga, parang sa mga tour ko kasi sa ibang bansa, actually sanay naman kasi ako sa maraming tao na mag-perform. Bago kasi ako nag-mainstream sa TV, sa film, sanay ako talagang mag-show… kasi pag in-invite po ako sa States or sa Europe ng mga Filipino communities, parang concert-type talaga ‘yung performance,” he said.
“Although ang mga songs ko, mga Broadway, mga ganun. So hindi ‘yung mga pop songs, kung meron man akong mga pop songs niyan, ‘yung mga Basil Valdez. … Well, I wish, I wish na matuloy. Excited naman ako. Sige sige, gawin natin,” he added.
And just in case, the prominent actor wants Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez to be a guest at his concert. He said, “Si Regine Velasquez, kasi siya ay naging leading lady ko sa Tanghalang Pilipino as Maria Clara. I played Crisostomo Ibarra, so kung pauunlakan ako ni Regine, magandang i-reenact namin ‘yung aming mga past shows.”
