Gardo Versoza Decides to Sell Some of His Gym Equipment to Fund Second Heart Procedure
Pinoy actor Gardo Versoza has turned to selling his gym equipment in an effort to raise funds for his upcoming second angioplasty procedure.
The actor suffered a heart attack back in March 2023, and underwent his first angioplasty procedure at the same time. However, as he prepares for the medical expenses of his second procedure, Versoza has decided to part with his gym equipment to offset the costs.
Angioplasty is a medical procedure that is performed to unblock and widen arteries and veins that have become narrowed or obstructed, allowing for improved blood flow.
Following his first angioplasty, Versoza took to Instagram last Tuesday (April 25, 2023) to share a video of himself dancing in front of his gym equipment.
The video has a caption:
“for sale all in one gym equipment compact ideal for condo RFS need to raise funds for 2nd angioplasty procedure, thank you LORD, i miss dancing”
While it is unclear whether the video was recorded before or after the first procedure, fans were pleased to see the actor, whom they affectionately refer to as “Cupcake”, being active again.
The heart attack that Versoza suffered was reportedly caused by “too much exercise”, according to his wife. Following the incident, the actor was immediately hospitalized and underwent his first angioplasty procedure. He was only recently discharged from the hospital on April 5th, and is now preparing for his second procedure.
