Tito Sotto debunked Bullet Jalosjos’s claims
Eat Bulaga host Tito Sotto belied TAPE Inc. chief financial officer Bullet Jalosjos’s statement about the “retirement” of former CEO Tony Tuviera.
For many years, Tony has worked with Tito, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon in the longest-running noontime show. However, it was reported recently that there was a change in the management. It was later confirmed that Jon-jon Jalosjos, one of the sons of Romy Jalosjos, the owner of TAPE Inc. took over the CEO position.
In an interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk, Bullet Jalosjos said that Tony Tuviera decided to retire and it was accepted by his father.
This was officially announced during a general meeting with everyone working in the Kapuso noontime show. However, this was contradicted by Tito Sotto in a recent interview with PEP.
The former Senate President said that for the longest time, they have been silent about the issues but they were surprised that Bullet Jalosjos spoke and for him, those were all lies.
“Lahat ng sinabi inaccurate eh. Lahat ng sinabi mali eh,” Tito said. After Bullet’s interview, Tito said that they talked to Jon-jon Jalosjos saying that everything was all good but they asked why there were statements contradicting what is really happening.
When asked about the statement that there was no takeover that happened, the former lawmaker said, “Pinagretire nga nila si Tony eh.” Tito Sotto also belied the claim that it was Tony’s decision to retire and that Congressman Jalosjos tried to stop him from doing this.
“Hindi totoo yun!” Tito Sotto stressed, adding that they only made Tony a consultant now. “As Tony, exact words niya sa amin yun, ‘pinagre-retire ako eh, di ko nga alam kung bakit eh,’” the Eat Bulaga host said.
