Kim Chiu Shares Sister Lakam's Health Update: Still Unconscious

Actress-host Kim Chiu shares her sister’s current condition.

KIM CHIU – Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu shares the current condition of her sister Lakam after she was hospitalized on her birthday.

In a previous article, actress Kim Chiu shared that her sister Lakam got hospitalized and asked for prayers. Her birthday wish is for her sister to recover. She was not able to celebrate her birthday because of this.

“Today is different. I wish it were different,” she quipped.

She did not disclose any details but it looks like her sister was in a dangerous state.

And recently, in a post, she shared an update and expressed gratitude to the people who prayed with her for her sister’s recovery. Accordingly, she is now out of the ICU and transferred to a normal room but she was still unconscious.

With this, she appealed for more prayers.

“Thank you for all your prayers for my ate Lakam. Sorry I was not able to reply to each one of you. She is out of ICU last night. She’s transferred to a normal room. We are waiting for her consciousness to regain. Maraming salamat po for praying. Tuloy lang po sana tayo sa pagdarasal. Thank you po sa inyong lahat,” Chiu wrote.

The actress has a very close relationship with her siblings, especially Lakam. Her sister is her “number one critic, her number one fan, and superwoman”. Twinkle, William, and John Paul are her three other siblings.
