3 Holduppers Who Viral After Chased by Brave Moto Vlogger Speak Out
The three (3) holduppers who went viral on social media after being chased by a brave moto vlogger finally speak out about the incident.
According to the prior account, the incident occurred after 8:00 p.m. on April 1. Jett Lau and his wife were going down Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City when he pursued a motorcycle carrying three men accused of victimizing students.
Jett quickly caught up with the three male suspects who were driving along Mindanao Avenue without helmets. Jett tried to talk to the three, but they refused to listen.
As a result, the pair intended to photograph the suspects’ faces as well as the license plate of the motorcycle they were riding. The chase reached Zabarte Road before the three escaped. Jett approached the authorities and reported the event.

The suspects allegedly pointed a knife at the victims, “Mark” and “Patricia,” not their real names, and announced a holdup. The suspects reportedly stole their belongings. When Mark had the opportunity, he flung stones at them until they freed his bag.
Patricia’s bag, however, was swept away. The bag, according to the child, contained her school supplies, ID, wallet, and cellphone. Because the suspects’ faces, Patrick Santos, Blasel Vacaro, and Jhonrick Baran, were seen on film, their moms handed them to authorities, worried that something awful would happen to them.
The suspects gave their side of the story. They claim that what they did was not a holdup. One said that they were merely inebriated and wanted to make fun of themselves by performing such an act.
“Nagkayayaan kaming uminom tapos nag-trippings. Holdaper! Tulong!’ Binigay ‘yung bag ng babae,” said Santos.
“Wala pong nangyaring panunutok.

However, the authorities do not believe the suspects’ story. Vacaro begged the victims to forgive him because they had not been wounded.
However, the victims stated that they have no plans to withdraw the lawsuit against the three in order to avoid repeating what happened to them. They also observed and praised the riders who risked their own lives to assist them.
