Katrina Velarde Slams Netizen in Comments Questioning Her 1M Followers
Singer Katrina Velarde roasts a netizen in the comments for allegedly questioning her 1 million followers on social media.
On Facebook, the Viva artist shared a message from a netizen who seemed to be skeptical of her number of fans. The netizen characterized the singer’s one million Facebook followers as “ghosts” based on the comment.
According to the netizen, the 1 million fans of the singers who cannot afford to buy tickets to the singer’s concerts are set to be included. Netizens have also slammed the supposed “free sponsored shows” that the Pinay singer is currently performing.
“Anyare sa padagdag na 1M followers kuno. Mga ghosts? Di naman kaya pala bumili ng tickets kay Katrina Velarde. Libreng sponsored shows na lng mami! Di na niya masusundan ang frontier theater venue concert niya,” the netizen said.
Velarde did not hesitate to respond to a netizen and roast with a vehement retort. She stated that she makes money from her shows and even joked that the netizen should tell its mother about the comment.
Katrina said, “Kwento mo nalang sa nanay mo. May pera ako kasi mga mga shows ako. #ThankGod. Kaya kwento mo nalang sa nanay mo comment mo.”
Many fans responded to the singer’s and netizen’s bardagulan, which now has over 6.1k reactions and 459 comments. It should be noted that the cancellation of Katrina’s shows in America was initially announced following the controversy surrounding its producer.
