Vic Sotto to star in a new Kapuso sitcom with Jose Manalo and Maja Salvador
Bossing Vic Sotto, comedian Jose Manalo, and actress-dancer Maja Salvador will star in a new Kapuso sitcom Open 24/7.
Over the years, Vic has already done many sitcoms. He was able to work with Jose on several projects already while Maja had the chance to become one of Eat Bulaga‘s hosts until her recent announcement that she will leave the show to prepare for her wedding with Rambo Nunez.
The three Dabarkads will do a project together and based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the pictorial for this already happened.
Vic Sotto that they are not just aiming to provide laughter to the viewers. “Hindi lang siya puro patawa kumbaga dapat may laman na na galing sa puso storya na tatalakay makakarelate ang mga tao,” the veteran comedian said.
Talking about his co-star Maja Salvador, Bossing Vic said that the actress-dancer has a good personality. “She is very sweet. Tapos nagkasama kami sa ‘Eat Bulaga,’ matagal-tagal din dun so iyong vibes andun na kahit first time ko siya makakasama sa sitcom and Maja as an actress,” he added.
Maja admitted that it has been her dream to do a project with the veteran comedian. “Di man sa pelikula pero at least sa sitcom niya,” she said. In the sitcom, the former Star Magic talent will play the “kikay” character of Mikaela.
The actress-dancer also shared that this is the most “maarte” role that she has done so far. She quipped that as early as now, this is already making her tired. On the other hand, she said that this project excites her.
Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay are also part of the sitcom cast.
