It’s confirmed! Alden Richards and Julia Montes are doing a movie
Kapuso actor Alden Richards and Kapamilya actress Julia Montes shared their comments on each other after their 2 shooting days.
Richard and Julia are the stars in the upcoming movie Five Break-ups and a Romance which is directed by Irene Emma Villamor who also directed Sid & Aya, Meet Me in St. Gallen, On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets, and Ulan.
On April 18, it was finally confirmed that Direk Irene’s new project will feature the tandem of Alden and Julia. In a press conference, based on the article Bandera, Direk Irene said that Five Break-ups and a Romance is about the complicated things that are happening in a relationship.
In this movie, Alden Richards’s character is Lance Sandoval while Julia Montes will give life to the character of Justine. The Kapuso actor said that he is excited about working with the Kapamilya actress.
“Na-excite ako to be paired with Julia. Isa siya sa mga leading ladies so far, by far, na unang meeting pa lang, wala nang pretensions. Naramdaman mo na yung sincerity,” Alden said.
After their 2 shooting days, the actor can say that a wonderful friendship and working relationship will bloom between them.
Julia also shared her realization after doing a shoot with Alden in just two days. “Why Alden Richards is Alden Richards. Ngayon alam ko na. Nagulat ako, hindi na ko magkukunwari. I’m honored and happy to work with him,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Direk Irene is also excited about the Alden Richards-Julia Montes tandem on the big screen. “We have done just one reading pa lang at sobrang dami na namin na-discuss about the concept so nakaka-excite makita paano nila bubuhayin yung mga characters sa script,” the filmmaker said.
