One of the state-run social insurance institutions in the Philippines is the Social Security System. For members who have posted at least 36 monthly contributions but not more than 72 monthly contributions may avail a one (1) month basic salary loan – meaning you can borrow an equivalent of your one-month basic salary. For members who have posted 72 monthly contributions and above, you can borrow an equivalent of twice the amount of your basic salary.
