Maja Salvador Temporarily Leaves Eat Bulaga Due to “Uncertainties Surrounding”
Actress-dancer Maja Salvador temporarily leaved longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga due to alleged “uncertainties surrounding”.
Maja Salvador’s talent agency, Crown Artist Management (CAM), recently announced the actress’ absences from the noontime show. According to the statement, Maja will resign amid internal concerns at the longest-running noontime show.
CAM stated in an official statement that Maja’s departure from Eat Bulaga was merely temporary. The comments offered more light on the situation involving Eat Bulaga executives.
“Crown Artist Management would like to announce that with Maja Salvador’s upcoming wedding, and with all the uncertainties surrounding Eat Bulaga, she will be leaving the noontiem show for the time being.” the statement reads.
Maja joined the Dabarkads in October 2021, and her arrival stunned the internet. Maja was a long-time ABS-CBN talent before hosting Eat Bulaga. Aside from the internal conflict in the program, they highlighted Salvador’s approaching wedding as one of the reasons she’s leaving the show.
“Becoming Dabarkads in Eat Bulaga was a dream of Maja that came true one and a half years ago, but for now we have to give it a pause. This decision was already communicated to their management, so we’re hoping for your utmost understanding. Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, its hosts and staff all the best!” the statement added.
As of writing, Eat Bulaga management has yet to give a comment to the decision of Maja. Previously, stories concerning the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga, which will be restructured and rebranded, circulated online. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon are thought to be on their way out.
And this is when the purported uproar began. According to legend, wherever this trio goes, the rest will follow. However, nothing has been confirmed or refuted as of this publication. The network and the program have yet to issue official statements.
