Liza Soberano continues to showcase her new image
Actress Liza Soberano is a self-proclaimed people pleaser in the past but she definitely turned her back from that era of her career in showbiz.
Liza started her career in the entertainment industry at a young age. After more than a decade, she started her journey to discovering and showcasing the image that she wants people to know.
Her “rebranding” became a controversial topic on social media and she was accused of being ungrateful to the people and the institution that helped her career flourished. She also admitted that it has been her dream to establish a career in Hollywood.
As part of the reintroduction that she is doing, she did a photoshoot with Preview Magazine in partnership with Maya.
In an article dedicated to this project, it was said that for many years, Liza Soberano was a “people pleaser” as she was used to conforming to what was being told to her to do. This has become an automatic thing for her in the past because she feared that people might hate her.
“I’m trying to adjust and get used to the idea of not being able to please everyone. No matter how hard I try, there’s always going to be people who dislike me. I just need to learn to be comfortable with that,” the actress said.
However, that was a thing of the past now. She has moved forward from that phase of her life and career. Liza has welcomed the change in her life as she is now more in control of what is happening.
She said that she wants to be known as a world-class artist and actress, however, she is aware that she can’t do acting all her life. This is the reason why she is also aiming to know what could be her niche behind the camera.
“I feel like there will come a time, especially when I hit my 30s, that I won’t want to be in front of the camera anymore. So I want to be able to learn how things work behind the scenes because I really love creating films, and I love anything creative. I feel like that’s the direction I’m leaning towards. Creating, instead of being the one in front of the camera,” Liza Soberano said.
