Piolo Pascual is doing a stage musical
A-list actor Piolo Pascual talked about his return to theater through the stage musical Ibarra after 30 long years.
Aside from being a TV and movie star, Piolo also did some recording stints, sings on ASAP Natin ‘To, and did some concerts here in the Philippines and abroad. This is the reason why it is not surprising that he is the lead star in the stage musical based on Jose Rizal’s novel Noli Me Tangere.
Piolo is definitely excited about this stint even though he is also nervous, based on the article in Inquirer.
In his recent Instagram post, the Kapamilya actor shared the post of the stage musical. This included the names of the cast members, as well as those behind the stage. The poster also featured the schedule of the play. Ibarra will be performed at the GSIS Theater, J. W. Diokno Blvd., CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd.
In the caption of his post, Piolo Pascual wrote, “And it’s time to fulfill this lifelong dream… #Ibarra season starts now… nervous but definitely excited to go back to theatre after 30 years [face with hand over mouth emoji] hope to share this with you soon…”
He also announced that theatergoers can buy the tickets in the third week of April at Ticketworld.
In the comment section of his post, celebrities showed support for him such as Alessandra de Rossi, Joross Gamboa, and Jerald Napoles. Fans of the actor also expressed excitement for him in his new project.
Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual’s previous social media post caught the attention of many netizens. It is because of his “hugot” about eating alone. “Hindi porket kumakain mag-isa malungkot na, di ba puwedeng nagtitipid lang?” he wrote.
