Christopher was utterly exhausted during that period of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), as there were no available transportation options. Finding a taxi was a stroke of luck. He approached his co-worker and asked if he could catch a quick nap, requesting to be awakened when it was time to queue.
“During that time pagod na pagod ako kasi ecq walang sasakyan, swertehan na lang Kung makahanap Ka taxi…I asked my workmate Kung pwede matulog muna ako, gisingin nya na lang ako pag queueing,” he said.
He believed in not taking advantage of his body’s limits, understanding the importance of rest when fatigued. While work could be found anywhere, a person’s life was precious and irreplaceable. He cherished and used the gifts bestowed upon him by God with care
“wag natin abusuhin ang ating katawan, kapag pagod ka magpahinga ka, Yung trabaho kasi kahit saan ka mamuhay may makukuha at makukuha ka pero yung buhay ng tao isa lang, ingatan at gamitin sa tama ang bigay ng Diyos,” he added.
