Recently, a huge fire broke out in Taytay and among those who were affected by the fire is the residence of Roland Javier. The grieving father recalled his last phone call with his family before he lost his wife, daughter, and several family members to the fire incident.

Based on a report on GMA News, Roland Javier was at work when the fire caught their house in Taytay. The grieving father said that he received a phone call from his frightened family at around 9:22 p.m. He was informed that a fire hit the house they are renting.
“Nagtitilian na lang, naririnig ko lang tilian. ‘Labas na!’ Sinisigaw ko, ‘Lumabas na kayo diyan‘,” Roland said.
According to the grieving father, before he went to work that day, he was able to speak to his two-year-old daughter, Martina Rolaine. Based on the report, when he arrived home, he found out that his wife, Ma. Christina, their daughter, and four other family members died from the fire that hit their home.
Roland Javier said that he really planned to prioritize his daughter and would get her out even if he burns. According to San Juan Chairman Rasel Valera, the house rented by the Javier family was located at the end of the compound thus they were not aware of what was happening in the front part of the compound which was both the entry and exit points.
