Willie Revillame is one of the hottest topics in showbiz these past few months
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that his source said that ABS-CBN is not willing to accept veteran host Willie Revillame again.
Willie, fondly called Kuya Wil in showbiz, did several shows on the Kapamilya network before he transferred to TV5 and eventually went to GMA-7. His recent home network is ALLTV where he brought his game show Wowowin after he decided not to renew his contract with the Kapuso network.
However, reports surfaced just recently that the veteran host resigned from AMBS, Manny Villar’s media company which is behind ALLTV.
Prior to this, Willie Revillame went controversial for slamming on air the bashers of his show and those criticizing Villar’s network. Following his rumored resignation, several speculations surfaced.
There were speculations that he might return to GMA-7 or to TV5. However, based on the article in Newsko, when it comes to ABS-CBN, Willie could no longer be a Kapamilya. Ogie talked about this in his recent digital showbiz talk show on YouTube.
It is allegedly because an executive of ABS-CBN will resign once the veteran host will be a Kapamilya again. Ogie talked about the possibilities following the reported resignation of Willie from ALLTV.
The talent manager-vlogger said that it is possible that Willie will return to GMA but he said, “Why not ‘di ba? Kaya lang siyempre, dati hinabol pa siya ng GMA pero umayaw na siya kasi nga malaki ang offer ni Manny Villar. So, I don’t think hahabulin siya ngayon ng GMA 7.”
Apparently, the veteran host is not welcome also in the Kapamilya network. “Ang ABS-CBN naman ang alam ko, eto’y ano lang naman sa akin once makabalik ng ABS-CBN si Willie Revillame, isang tao mula sa top management ang magre-resign. Ang nakarating sa akin, pinasakit ang ulo non ni Willie. Hindi ko lang alam ah, kung sino ‘yung tao na ‘yun,” Ogie Diaz said.
Willie is yet to confirm or deny his rumored resignation.
