People working in ALLTV have no idea about the resignation of Willie Revillame
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin was the one who first talked about the supposed resignation of veteran TV host Willie Revillame but it was said that people working in ALLTV are clueless about this.
Willie decided not to renew his contract with GMA last year. His show Wowowin was catered to by the Kapuso network for almost seven years. This decision was prompted by the fact that he was already negotiating with Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) the media company of business tycoon Manny Villar that is behind ALLTV.
Early this year, ALLTV announced that the airing of its shows will take a break for the company to fix the issue with signals in other parts of the country.
In a recent digital program of Cristy Fermin, she mentioned that Willie Revillame has nothing to do with ALLTV anymore because he resigned already. Previously, reports stated that the veteran TV host also served as a consultant when it comes to the contents of the network.
In an article by showbiz writer Jun Lalin in Abante Entertainment, people in the media relation department of ALLTV were surprised by the news that Willie resigned.
“Sila mismo ay nagtatanong-tanong kung wala na ba talagang kinalaman sa kanilang TV network si Willie?” the writer said. Lalin also recalled that Willie no longer continued his contract with GMA because of his “utang na loob” to Villar.
“Kami mismo, nagtatanungan kung totoo ba ang balitang ‘yan. Wala pang sinasabi ang mga Bossing sa amin,” an ALLTV staff member said.
There is no update yet also about the three studios at Starmall EDSA corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. It was said that one studio will be exclusive to Willie Revillame’s Wowowin.
